Who we are
Inner Studio Psychotherapy is built on the belief that healing happens when individuals stop performing and start practicing — the same way you would in a dance studio, a research lab, or a creative workspace. Growth takes presence, discipline, and courage.
Founded by Rachel McGlade, LCSW, a former ballet dancer, researcher, and advertising strategist, Inner Studio Psychotherapy was born out of a deep understanding of what it means to live under pressure — to strive, to perfect, to produce, and to meet every expectation with a smile.
Rachel's experience spans worlds that demand both excellence and endurance: the disciplined rigor of ballet, the intellectual intensity of academic research, and the relentless pace of the advertising and business world. Across each of these environments, she saw the same pattern — ambitious, creative women pushing themselves to exhaustion, often disconnected from their own needs and inner voice.
Inner Studio was created to be the antidote to that.
A place where women can step away from performance and return to authenticity — where growth isn’t about proving yourself, but about coming home to yourself.
